Grilled Peaches and Ice Cream

This sweet summer dessert features grilled, juicy peaches and a homemade no-churn vanilla bean ice cream. Peaches and Cream: a classic combination!

It is stone fruit season, people! Stone fruits are some of my favorite summer fruits. There is nothing like a sweet, juicy peach to bite into on a hot summer day! Stone fruits are basically any fruit that has a pit (like a stone)! There’s also nectarines, plums, cherries, etc. They are honestly my favorite. Now, I love fresh peaches, but grilled peaches? Amazing.

Grilled peaches soften the flesh and bring out the juices. And the char on the fruit is caramelized with the sugar to bring an amazing, complex flavor. A quick tip on grilling the peaches: make sure that you grease the grates! As the fruit warms and juices drip, there can be stickiness on your grill grates if you don’t grease them!

Peaches and Cream

I have always thought that the classic combination of peaches and cream was gold. A summer treat for my house is to make an easy no-churn ice cream to enjoy. Plus, this vanilla ice cream recipe is the perfect base to any no-churn ice cream flavor! You could add any assortment of additives to transform this ice cream base into any flavor you could imagine! It is creamy, refreshing, and decadent. You need this in your summer dessert rotation.

Prep time

Cooking time

  • Fresh peaches, halved

  • Vanilla Bean No Churn Ice Cream
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

  • Pinch of salt

  • Vanilla Bean No Churn Ice Cream
  • Add whipping cream and sweetened condensed milk to a stand mixer bowl.
  • Turn mixer on high and allow to whip until stiff peaks are formed (this took me about 8 minutes).
  • When stiff peaks are formed, stop mixer and add vanilla and salt. Mix to combine.
  • Remove bowl from stand mixer and add to a container of your choice. I chose to put my ice cream mixture in a 9″x13″ loaf pan.
  • Put pan in freezer and freeze overnight, or at least 6 hours.
  • Grilled Peaches
  • Preheat grill.
  • Halve peaches and remove pit (optional).
  • Add peaches to grill split-side down. Grill until softened throughout, and grill marks are to your liking.
